The Panel Discussion will feature the following alumni:
Jason Barnett '90 serves as Vice Chairman and General Counsel of RXR Realty LLC ("RXR"), a multi-billion dollar private real estate company which was formed subsequent to the merger of Reckson Associates Realty Corp. with SL Green. He is responsible for all legal and compliance matters and oversees the Company's transactional and corporate activities. Prior to the merger, he served as Senior Executive Vice President-Corporate Initiatives, General Counsel and Secretary where he was integrally involved in the structuring and execution of over $6 billion of acquisitions, financings and capital market transactions. Prior to joining Reckson, he was with Sidley Austin Brown & Wood, LLP, where he focused on capital markets and real estate investment trusts. He received his JD from Emory University and is a member of the American Bar Association, and the Real Estate Board of NY.
Gray Hirshfield '82 is Vice President, Executive Producer at Grey Global, where she manages the in-house post-production department and provides content for TV, radio, social media, Web and viral. She began her career as a line producer and assistant director in commercial and video production, travelling the country working on national commercials. She then served as Head of Production at Quiet Man, a multi-award winning special effects studio where she managed a staff of creative, graphics and compositing artists on some of the best known commercial visual effects in the industry including Pepsi, ATT, Schwab and FedEx. She currently manages a staff of producers, editors, audio engineers and graphic artists at Grey NY where clients include E*Trade (yes, those babies), Canon, Olive Garden, P&G, Covergirl and Pantene.
Patti Kantor '77 is a Partner with Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP and is a member of the firm's Real Estate Department, and the firm's Executive Board. She is also co-chair of the firm's Retail Industry and Consumer Products practice group. Patti has been active in real estate and corporate law for more than 20 years, having started her practice representing developers and hundreds of tenant associations during the cooperative and condominium housing conversion boom of the early 1980's. Her real estate practice runs the gamut of commercial and residential transactions in New York and throughout the country. She was recently selected as a New York Super Lawyer for the second year in a row. She received her JD from Brooklyn Law School.
